Murany No. 86

THE SPIRIT

After the bath, before the dinner

N°86 · The Story

Born of history,
composed of the Alps.

From the depths of the Alps rise the springs of Bad Gastein, whose radon-infused thermal waters have, for centuries, been said to possess invigorating qualities. This imperial spa became a meeting place of the old world.

At the Grand Hotel de l'Europe, Tsar Ferdinand I of Bulgaria stayed under the fictitious alias “Count Murany”. It was there that his frivolous evenings invariably began with his aperitif.

Murany No. 86: born of history, crafted with Alpine herbs, and imbued with Radon — the 86th element.

N°86

Summer residence of Emperors, ski resort of Maharajas, "Monte Carlo of the Alps". That is Bad Gastein, whose legendary Grand Hotel de l'Europe is likely the inspiration for the Hollywood classic "Grand Budapest Hotel". This is the home of Murany No. 86: An Alpine aperitif inspired by a Tsar, crafted from mountain herbs and the radon-rich thermal waters of the Gastein Alps.

Herbal and uplifting — refined with radon-rich thermal water from the natural springs of Bad Gastein. For over a thousand years, the thermal waters of Gastein have been said to have an invigorating effect. Hundreds of thousands draw on their power every year. Note: an entire bottle of Murany contains less than 1/1000 of the radiation of a single transatlantic flight. Herbal Bitter · 22 % Vol · 700 ml
