An interior made by hand.
The interiors were designed by a former Soho House designer from New York and realised with uncompromising craftsmanship and finesse. The woodwork was crafted by a cabinetmaker for the House of Ralph Lauren.
Local artisans laid tropical plank parquet, applied Turkish wallpapers, and fitted English brassware. Hundreds of metres of velvet were sewn by hands accustomed to the ateliers of opera houses. The marble for the bathrooms was supplied by the British firm responsible for furnishing such institutions as Claridge's and Harrod's.
An ensemble of refined furnishings completes the rooms, where carefully selected antiques converse with detailed reproductions of Austrian furniture classics. Handcrafted brass chandeliers, Italian silks, glassware from the last Bohemian lead-glass manufactory, and the finest Chinese porcelain lend further distinction.
